1. Who is responsible for processing of your personal data?
The Belgian KPMG entity organizing the training (hereafter referred to as “KPMG”) will process your personal data, as data controller, in accordance with the applicable European privacy legislation (including the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 - hereafter referred to as “GDPR”), the national privacy legislation (including but not limited to the Belgian Law of 30 July 2018 concerning the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data) and all applicable related jurisprudence and guidelines.
2. What personal data do we process?
KPMG may process the following personal data:
- Contact details (such as first name, last name, address, e-mail address);
- Professional information (such as the enterprise/organization you work for, your title/function, your number of membership with the relevant professional institute/organization);
- And/or any other information that you may provide.

KPMG may collect the personal data that you provide through KPMG Training Registration Portal or to KPMG and for which you shall remain solely responsible.

The processing of your personal data will be based on your consent (article 6.1 a) of GDPR). As far as KPMG people are concerned, the processing of your personal data is necessary for the performance of your (employment) contract with KPMG (article 6.1 b) of GDPR).

Your personal data may be shared with the relevant professional institute/organization in the framework of the abovementioned purposes
In the context of this processing, KPMG will call on several data (sub)processors for providing and operating KPMG Training Registration Portal (including hosting and IT support).
7. Where do we process your personal data?
Your personal data will be processed in the European Economic Area.
8. How long do we keep your personal data?
KPMG will not keep your personal data longer than necessary for the purposes for which they have been collected or otherwise processed.
Your account on KPMG Training Registration Portal will be deleted at the end of the next calendar year when there was no activity during the ongoing calendar year. Your registration entries will be deleted at the end of the next calendar year. As far as KPMG people are concerned, your personal data will be kept for a maximum period of ten (10) years after the termination of your (employment) contract with KPMG.
9. What rights do you have as data subject and how can you exercise them?
You have the right to access, rectify and erase your personal data as well as to restrict or object the processing of your personal data. Besides that, you have the right to data portability. You also have the right to withdraw your consent at any moment. The withdrawal of you consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing based on your consent before its withdrawal. Furthermore, you have the right to object at any time to processing of your personal data for direct marketing purposes.
You can exercise these rights by filling out this form and we will make all reasonable and practical efforts to comply with your request, so long as it is consistent with applicable law and professional standards.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority should any of your rights be violated.
For the sake of completeness, your personal data will be processed in accordance with KPMG’s Privacy Statement. As far as KPMG people are concerned, your personal data will be processed in accordance with KPMG’s Privacy Notice for Partners, Directors, Employees and Contractors.
